Notice is hereby given that the Board of Police Commissioners of the City of Chester, Illinois, will be accepting written applications for employment as a Full Time Police Officer for the City of Chester, Illinois.

The City of Chester Board of Police Commissioners will conduct written examination for the position of Chester Police Officer at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 24, 2014, in the City Council Chambers at Chester City Hall, located at 1330 Swanwick Street, Chester, Illinois. Applicants who pass the written examination will take a Physical Fitness Assessment at 2:00 p.m. that same afternoon. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States, possess a valid driver’s license, and have no felony convictions and certain misdemeanor convictions.
