The Greenville Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part time police officer.  Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, which may include weekends and holidays; days or nights. Applicants must be state certified and possess a valid driver's license.

The Village of Grantfork is currently seeking to fill an open part time Police Officer position. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens that are 21 years of age. Duties include patrolling the Village to preserve law and order and to prevent the commission of crime, responding to general public service calls, investigating misdemeanor and felony complaints and enforcing state and municipal laws as well as traffic ordinances. An officer must be able to maintain good working relationship with citizens and actively promote police / community relations. An officer will be required to do a variety of technical and administrative functions that serve the public and the police department. An element of danger is associated with the position and an officer will be subject to extreme, adverse, and stressful conditions.

Police experience preferred.

The Village of Richmond Police Department is hiring part-time police officers who are or have been certified police officers (Part or Full time certification) by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.

Minimum qualifications include:

21 years of age
 High school graduate (or equivalent)
 Good moral character
 Good mental and physical condition
 No felony or domestic violence convictions

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Enforcing traffic, criminal laws, and local ordinances
 Provide emergency response as needed
 Write reports
 Handle accidents
 Go to court as needed
 Other duties as assigned
 Continuous opportunities for ongoing and advanced training.

Assignments such as investigations, evidence technician, truck enforcement officer are available.

Work any and all shifts, and any holidays required. Flexible work hours if you have a full-time job.

To establish an eligibility register, the Swansea Police Department
will conduct Written Examination and Physical Agility/Fitness Tests
on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Southwestern Illinois College,
Room 1060, 2500 Carlyle Avenue, Belleville, Illinois.
